Women’s History Month is a powerful reminder that when women rise, organizations rise with them. Every year, International Women’s Day falls on March 8 and serves as a global moment of recognition. At North it’s also part of a month-long focus on advancing women’s careers, voices, and impact.

For us, this is more than a theme. It is a year-round commitment to supporting women at every stage of professional growth, and creating a culture where female leaders thrive.

From early talent to the executive team, North invests intentionally in professional development, mentorship, and community. This focus is helping women grow their careers while shaping the future of the company and the industries it serves.

Kari Lawry, Chief People Officer at North, sees this momentum every day. “We are not just opening doors for women at North. We are making sure they have the support, sponsorship, and tools to walk through those doors with confidence,” she says. “Career growth here is not accidental. It is the result of deliberate coaching, visibility, and opportunities to lead meaningful work.”

That approach includes access to stretch assignments and cross functional projects so women can build skills that match their ambitions. We also offer leadership programs, internal communities of practice, and one-on-one mentorship that pairs emerging leaders with more experienced ones.

In product and technology, North’s female team members are at the forefront of innovation. Chief Product Officer, Radhika Nori believes that diverse teams create better outcomes for customers. “When women are part of the decision-making process from strategy to delivery, the products we build are more inclusive, more intuitive, and more impactful,” she explains. “North encourages women to take bold ownership of ideas, and to lead with both data and empathy.”

Nori highlights that North’s culture gives women the space to experiment and grow. “I see women stepping into complex product challenges, presenting to clients, and leading cross functional teams. They are not waiting to be invited into the conversation. They are shaping it. And North is right there backing them with resources, trust, and recognition.”

This commitment to growth is felt across North’s offices, including our presence in Limerick, Ireland. Sinéad Kielty, HR Manager, People & Culture at North Limerick, sees firsthand how local leadership and global support come together. “We are very intentional about creating pathways for women to progress, whether they are just starting out or preparing for senior leadership,” she says. “North empowers women to bring their full selves to work, and to see their careers here as a long-term journey, not a short stop.”

Kielty adds, “International Women’s Month is a chance for us to spotlight role models in every team and location. When women see other women leading projects, influencing decisions, and being recognized for their expertise, it changes what they believe is possible for themselves.”

North’s commitment extends beyond its own walls. The company has a long tradition of supporting female-focused organizations including Inforum Michigan, PayTech Women, Latinas in Tech, and Girls Who Code. These partnerships reflect our belief that advancing women in business and technology requires both internal action and external investment.

By pairing career development with community impact, North is helping women build careers that are sustainable, influential, and deeply connected to purpose.

This International Women’s Month, the message is clear. When women are at the table, everyone wins.
